A Fine Early 19th Century Regency Mahogany Drum Top Library Table

This fine-quality early 19th-century Regency period mahogany circular drum top library table showcases exceptional craftsmanship and elegant late Georgian design. It features an original golden brown gilt-tooled leather inset on a circular mahogany top. The frieze includes four mahogany lined drawers and four dummy drawers, all fitted with brass ring handles. The table is supported by a refined ring turned baluster central stem, which is complemented by four elegant hipped stiff downswept legs capped with original brass castors. This piece not only serves as a stunning centre piece for any refined interior but also exhibits a lovely patina that attests to its history. In very good sturdy condition, England, circa 1825.
The solid mahogany exhibits a rich, warm patina, enhancing its visual appeal. This table is not only a testament to exceptional craftsmanship but also a striking example of classic design, making it an ideal piece for any refined library, office, hallway or interior.
