This attractive large early 19th-century Georgian camphor wood military traveling trunk or chest is a remarkable piece. Covered in beautifully studded leather and reinforced with brass bindings, it features panelled brass studding and two sturdy carrying handles.
Both the leather and brass fittings are in good condition, while the interior of the chest retains the delightful aromatic scent of camphor wood, remaining in its original order.
