This charming 17th-century Charles II Jacobean oak geometric chest of drawers showcases exceptional colour and patina. It features a rectangular planked top with a moulded edge, positioned above two small and three long graduated oak-lined drawers, all detailed with geometric moulding.
The drawers are adorned with brass drop handles, escutcheons, and locks, enhancing both functionality and aesthetic appeal. The chest is raised on later bun feet, providing stability and style. The original planked back and panelled sides contribute to its authenticity and historical significance.
Exhibiting an outstanding rich warm colour and patina, this piece was made in England circa 1680, making it a remarkable addition to any collection or interior setting.
