Charming Late 19th-Century Victorian Period Mahogany Child's Rocking Chair

A charming late 19th-century Victorian period mahogany child's rocking chair. It features a carved, bowed crest rail of deep form with a walnut inlay back support above a leather seat flanked by small curved arm supports. The chair is raised on turned legs, united by stretchers. The long, arched rocking feet provide a relaxing, gentle motion. The chair is sturdy and solid, both decorative and elegant. England, circa 1890.
