A stunning late 19th-century French walnut partners desk with eighteen drawers, featuring nine drawers on each side. The desk has a rectangular top with a black leather tooled inset and thumb moulded edge. It is supported by two pedestals, each with six drawers adorned with turned walnut handles. The desk includes pull-out extension slides on both sides, each with embossed black leather tops, and stands upon a plinth base with bun feet. The leather on the top has a crack which can be restored by our restorers. This desk exhibits superb quality with a lovely warm patina on the original leather and walnut.
