A handsome late 18th-century George III period mahogany tripod table. It features a well-figured single piece of solid mahogany for the tilt-top circular top, above a turned baluster-form column with a vase-shaped stem. The table is raised on well-drawn cabriole legs that terminate in pad feet, retaining a good color and patination. The tilt-top includes the original catch and dates to England circa 1790.
