A 19th century French Louis XVI Style rectangular centre table painted in distressed off white and cream colours. The top is a slab of antique original white marble, over a shaped frieze decorated with garlands, supported on tapering fluted legs joined by a stretcher. A stunning piece that can be used as a working table or as a centre table. These tables were also called "Tables a Gibier" (wild fowl and game) and were used by hunters to drop their prey.
