A very stylish 19th century William IV period library armchair in mahogany and buttoned leather with a pull out adjustable leather foot stool. Circa 1835 and in lovely condition. This attractive library armchair has a solid mahogany frame, with nicely shaped backrest and leather arm supports, with generous seat and lovely turned fluted legs terminating on brass castors. The leather with studded trim has a great look to it, gently worn with age and has been fed and waxed to give it a wonderful mellow glow.
