A 19th century, Victorian period stained softwood and wrought iron and copper mounted bushel measure, the riveted cylindrical body mounted with two carrying handles and stamped with cypher VR176 below a coronet and ESSEX and further coronet to the other side, the segmented underside stamped twice with BUSHEL and initials CH.
