19TH CENTURY BROWN LEATHER BUTTON WING ARMCHAIR, C1860

This high-quality, untouched 19th-century brown leather button-back wing armchair is designed in the George III style. The substantial, well-shaped frame features a deep-buttoned upholstered back and arms, all covered in the original brown leather. 
Notable features include scrolling arms, a sprung seat, and close-nailed brass stud detailing. The chair is raised on cabriole legs that terminate in claw-and-ball feet, adding to its classic elegance. 
It exhibits a beautiful, untouched colour and rich patination, making it very comfortable. Please note that there is a small tear in the leather on the back.
The seat height of the chair is 42 cm.
Overall, this armchair is in good original condition, offering both comfort and aesthetic charm. Its brown colour showcases a fantastic hue and patina that can only be achieved through years of care and maintenance.
