19TH CENTURY ARTS & CRAFTS CARVED WALNUT LEATHER LIBRARY ARMCHAIR,

A very stylish, high-quality late 19th-century Victorian period Arts & Crafts carved walnut leather library armchair. Circa 1880 and in lovely original condition. This attractive library armchair has a solid walnut frame, with a nicely shaped carved backrest, leather arm supports, a generous seat, and carved lion’s head mask armrests. Lovely turned legs terminating in original brass and porcelain castors. The original leather, with studded trim, has a great look to it, slight wear commensurate with age, and has been fed and waxed to give it a wonderful mellow glow. The chair seat height is 42cm. In very good original condition and comfortable to sit on, it is a perfect addition to any home or office.
