A pair of superb mid-century Chippendale style faux bamboo armchairs in a wonderful sanguine patina. The chairs are in overall good condition and include separate blue velvet seat cushions over the caned seats. The frames feature carved faux bamboo decoration with a straight open fretwork geometric back, curved arms, and are supported by turned legs with stretchers. They exhibit a lovely patina. The seat height of the chairs is 43 cm.
