SOLD/20TH CENTURY ART DECO FRENCH BABYFOOT FOOTBALL TABLE

SOLD
Very Decorative Early 20th-Century French Art Deco Babyfoot Football Table, France, Circa 1920

A superb early 20th-century French Art Deco babyfoot (foosball) table, originally from a bar or café, crafted in solid beech with striking metal sheet decoration to the sides. This wonderfully engineered table is complete with its carved wooden players and a set of balls, and is ready for immediate use.
One of the standout technical features of this table is its glass playing surface, which slopes from both ends towards the centre. This clever design keeps the ball in constant motion and allows for superior ball control, enhancing both playability and enjoyment.
The beech frame has developed a rich, characterful patina, the small marks and signs of wear bearing witness to decades of lively games and social gatherings. The combination of sculptural form, quality materials and robust construction makes this much more than a game: it is a superb piece of decorative furniture in its own right.
Equally at home in a lounge, games room, studio or family space, this babyfoot table offers a perfect blend of nostalgia, fun and authentic early 20th-century style. A real conversation piece, it provides hours of entertainment and brings genuine vintage bar ambience into any interior.
