An early 19th-century Regency period side or end table with a faux leather book top. Designed as a four-volume faux library book box, it is raised on elegant turned mahogany legs. The interior is lined with Italian marbled paper and includes a small lidded compartment. Made in England, circa 1830, this piece is of lovely quality with a beautiful patina on the original leather.
