This 19th-century William IV period brown leather library desk tub armchair combines elegance, comfort, and timeless craftsmanship. The substantial, well-shaped frame features a gently curved back and scrolled arms, all meticulously covered in the original brown leather. The chair's scrolling arms, sprung seat, and close-nailed brass stud detailing showcase the attention to detail characteristic of the period. It stands gracefully on cabriole front legs and rear splayed legs, adding to its classic aesthetic. The original leather displays a stunning, untouched colour and a rich patination that highlights its authenticity and charm.
