SOLD/19TH CENTURY VICTORIAN PERIOD BURR WALNUT INLAID CARD TABLE

SOLD
A very fine and elegant 19th-century Victorian period burr walnut inlaid card table. The rectangular top, featuring rosewood crossbanding and rounded corners, swivels and folds open to reveal a green baize-lined playing surface. The frieze is also adorned with rosewood crossbanding. The table stands on elegantly turned legs, embellished with brass ormolu mounts, and rests on brown porcelain castors. It remains in very good condition, with exceptional inlay work, a beautiful walnut patina, and a graceful shape. All mechanisms function properly, making this card table not only a stunning piece but also fully functional and ready for use.
