This 19th-century Victorian period buttoned brown leather library reading armchair combines elegance, comfort, and timeless craftsmanship. The substantial, well-shaped frame features a gently curved back and scrolled arms, complemented by a deep-buttoned upholstered seat and backrest, all meticulously covered in the original brown leather.

The chair's scrolling arms, sprung seat, and close-nailed brass stud detailing showcase the attention to detail characteristic of the period. It stands gracefully on cabriole front legs and rear splayed legs, adding to its classic aesthetic.
