Stunning Quality Mid 19th Century Early Victorian Period Burr Walnut 4-Door Breakfront Wardrobe

Very impressive mid-19th century, early Victorian period burr walnut 4-door breakfront wardrobe is a true statement piece. Crafted circa 1860, it features a moulded cornice above four long panelled doors in beautifully figured burr walnut. Below the doors is one long central drawer, flanked by two more drawers, all with original turned wooden handles and locks with a working key.
Both side compartments are designed for hanging clothing, while the central double compartment offers five sliding trays and three internal drawers with brass square campaign handles, providing excellent storage versatility. The wardrobe stands securely on an enclosed plinth base. All in perfect condition with a rich patination. The colour and finish are outstanding, having been professionally cleaned and polished in our workshops.
For ease of delivery, the wardrobe splits into six sections plus the cornice and plinth.
