Late Georgian oak English country house bureau bookcase. Circa 1800. Having a moulded cornice above two fielded panelled doors, opening to reveal three adjustable shelves inside, the bureau fall opening to reveal a lovely fitted interior with various drawers, compartments and a door at the centre, with a shaped apron running along the top, with four oak lined graduated drawers below, with brass plate handles, standing on bracket feet.
