A fine quality early 19th-century Regency period tall mahogany whatnot or music stand. The rectangular top features an adjustable reading slope above three similar solid mahogany tiers, all crafted from quality flame mahogany. Above is an oak lined drawer, supported by elegant turned bobbin columns, all raised on small brass castors. In excellent original condition, this mahogany display stand retains its original colour and warm patination. England, circa 1820.
