19TH CENTURY LEATHER BRASSBOUND COACHING TRUNK, C1810

This small, attractive early 19th-century Georgian leather brass-bound coaching trunk or chest is a remarkable piece. It is covered in beautifully studded leather and reinforced with brass bindings, featuring panelled brass studding and two sturdy carrying handles.
Both the leather and brass fittings are in good condition, and the trunk remains in its original order. Dating from circa 1810, this trunk is a fantastic example of its kind, showcasing the right amount of patina for its age.
