Stunning 18th-century Dutch Walnut Armoire Cupboard

A stunning 18th-century walnut Dutch armoire. The large angular crown features stepped moulding, sitting atop two tall solid cross-banded panelled doors. These doors are separated and flanked by pilaster columns with shaped mouldings at the base and carvings at the top. One key operates the locking mechanism on the right door, also serving as a pull handle. The left door latches from the inside to secure it when closed. Just behind the doors, there are three shelves and two drawers for storage. The base mirrors the shape of the top cornice. The entire piece is supported by four large bun feet.The attention to detail extends to the two cross-banded panelled sides with softly curved corners. Throughout its long life, the wood has acquired a patina that enhances its antique quality, showcasing impeccable craftsmanship.
