A North Italian provincial 18th-century richly decorated marquetry and inlay oak and walnut cabinet. It features a molded cornice above an arrangement of twenty oak-lined drawers surrounding two doors depicting Italianate villages and architectural landscapes. The cabinet showcases geometric designs created by the positioning and orientation of different species of wood. The cabinet is raised on a newly made iron stand and retains a superb original colour and patina.
