A mid 18th-century George II period oak dresser base, displaying a good color. The rectangular three-plank top features a moulded edge, above three oak-lined drawers with original brass swan-neck handles and brass escutcheons, all contained in a pegged and jointed frame. It is raised on two front turned legs with pad feet and two rear straight square legs. This piece exhibits superb quality with a lovely mellow honey patina. Made in England circa 1760.
