Payments
We accept most methods of payment. Payment for goods must be made at point of order. We may at our discretion, accept orders for which payment must be made at the point of delivery.
Do contact us for a final sale figure so we can consider any costs of packing and shipping etc .
In the unlikely event you are not happy with your purchase we will gladly issue a refund (excluding carriage costs), the item must be returned within 28 days of purchase.
All Prices quoted on this site are in UK Sterling (GBP). For payments other than in British pounds please use our currency converter to estimate the current exchange rate.
 Shipping and Deliveries
Our recommended delivery company can collect, insure, package and deliver worldwide. UK delivery usually takes no more than two weeks but in very busy periods please allow up to 28 days. We use very experienced packers who have an enviable record of safe deliveries.
We will be responsible for loss, or damage, to goods until delivered or collected. Delivery is to the customer’s ground floor entrance.
Delivery dates/times are given in good faith. We will not accept responsibility for any loss, expense or other consequence of failure to meet any delivery date/time.
Thinking of shipping a container of goods from us? This is a much cheaper option than shipping individual items. We can arrange to ship a container filled with our quality antique furniture fully packaged and insured to your door anywhere in the world.
Ownership and Retention of Title
Equitable and beneficial ownership of any goods supplied will remain with the us, until the buyer pays all monies outstanding in full, although risk passes to the buyer upon delivery of the goods. The buyer will undertake to properly store and insure the goods, and have them identified as our property, until such time as payment in full is made.

Item Descriptions and Colours
These items are antique and character marks can be seen due to the age. Items are purchased as seen on the photographs or in our showrooms. Whilst we make every effort to point out if there is any serious damage, worm, restorations etc. we cannot cover every eventuality so if you have any questions please raise these with us before purchase. Descriptions are a guide only. Because of the vagaries of the web, true colours may vary.

We at Anthony Short Antiques Ltd respects customers' privacy at all times. We do require some personal details if you request information from us, but we make no further use of your details beyond forwarding requested information about our products. Occasionally we may send a newsletter to you but you can opt out from receiving this if you wish.
