A fine late 19th century, Victorian period mahogany partners writing table with unusual features such as a moulded rectangular top with two rising fall writing slopes in the centre topped by a brass galleried top, above two faux drawers on either side. The pair of slanted black leather writing surfaces opens to reveal a fitted interior, flat surfaces to each side also with a black tooled leather insert. Raised on 4 slender turned legs terminating in brass cup porcelain castors. England circa 1880. Very unusual, good quality with an original warm patina. The table top height is 75cm.
